<p><strong>The recent demonetization of high value currency by the Government of India was with objective to unearth the black money, and to curb the corruption, counterfeit currency as well as terror financing. Black money is that money on which tax is not paid to the government and which goes unaccounted in the duration of country’s tax assessment period causing big revenue losses to the government. The biggest mission of demonetization is described as fighting black money. India’s economy historically holds a big parallel economy where unreported income is the norm. It is argued that demonetization of higher currency notes can help curbing black money in the country and this decision was considered as biggest cleanliness drive against the black money in the history of Indian economy.</strong></p>
<copyrightYear>2017</copyrightYear> <keywords locale="en_US"> <keyword>Demonetization, Black money, Economy.</keyword> </keywords> <authors xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://pkp.sfu.ca native.xsd"> <author include_in_browse="true" user_group_ref="Author" seq="16" id="234"> <givenname locale="en_US">Smt. Our study dissects the multifaceted relationship between digital technology advancements, particularly Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR), and their market implications. We contend that the Metaverse is reshaping traditional consumer experiences, transforming them into an immersive, more engaging phenomenon. Our research provides an in-depth analysis of the key players in this evolving sector, summarizes the implications for businesses transitioning into the Metaverse, and scrutinizes the accompanying legal, ethical and security complexities. Furthermore, we propose customer-centric strategies to generate increased engagement and revenue in the virtual market, along with discussing the potential societal impacts of the Metaverse. Our findings suggest a forthcoming paradigm shift in e-commerce that underlines a need for both businesses and consumers to adapt to this novel virtual landscape. The increasing prevalence of digital spaces, particularly the metaverse, is radically altering traditional marketing strategies. In this context, the fashion industry faces new challenges and opportunities. The study remaps the boundaries between physical and digital fashion marketing, focusing on immersive spaces wherein fashion consumers can interact intimately with brands. We delve into the mechanics of AI and how it can be tailored to enhance engagement, produce customized experiences, and draw actionable insights from consumer behavior patterns in the metaverse. The study finds that the integration of AI technology can lead to an enhanced understanding of fashion consumers, leading to personalized experiences and innovative brand promotions. This integration progresses the field of fashion marketing, specifically by creating unique engagement strategies and fostering brand innovation within the metaverse. As the convergence of fashion and technology continues to intensify, this research offers pioneering directions for brands, marketers, and related stakeholders navigating the digital frontier.</p>
<copyrightYear>2017</copyrightYear> <keywords locale="en_US"> <keyword>Metaverse, Fashion Marketing, AI, Consumer Behaviour</keyword> </keywords> <subjects locale="en_US"> <subject>Virtual Consumerism an Exploration of E-Commerce in the Metaverse</subject> </subjects> <authors xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://pkp.sfu.ca native.xsd"> <author include_in_browse="true" user_group_ref="Author" seq="10" id="136"> <givenname locale="en_US">Bharati Rathore</givenname> <affiliation locale="en_US">Rajasthan University</affiliation> <country>IN</country> <email>sample@gmail.com</email> </author> </authors> <article_galley xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" locale="en_US" url_path="" approved="false" xsi:schemaLocation="http://pkp.sfu.ca native.xsd"> <id type="internal" advice="ignore">88</id> <name locale="en_US">View</name> <seq>0</seq> <submission_file_ref id="112"/> </article_galley> <pages>51-60</pages> </publication> </article> <article xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" locale="en_US" date_submitted="2023-07-01" status="3" submission_progress="0" current_publication_id="106" stage="production"> <id type="internal" advice="ignore">106</id> <submission_file xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" id="105" created_at="2023-07-01" date_created="" file_id="105" stage="proof" updated_at="2023-07-01" viewable="false" genre="Article Text" uploader="admin" xsi:schemaLocation="http://pkp.sfu.ca native.xsd"> <name locale="en_US">Dr. Suraj Mukhi.pdf</name> <file id="105" filesize="344772" extension="pdf"> <href src="journals/1/articles/106/64a040aea490b.pdf" mime_type="application/pdf"/> </file> </submission_file> <submission_file xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" id="110" created_at="2023-07-04" date_created="" file_id="110" stage="proof" updated_at="2023-07-04" viewable="false" genre="Article Text" uploader="admin" xsi:schemaLocation="http://pkp.sfu.ca native.xsd"> <name locale="en_US">Dr. Suraj Mukhi Yadav 4.pdf</name> <file id="110" filesize="344856" extension="pdf"> <href src="journals/1/articles/106/64a3a11450276.pdf" mime_type="application/pdf"/> </file> </submission_file> <publication xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" locale="en_US" version="1" status="3" primary_contact_id="134" url_path="" seq="9" date_published="2017-08-02" section_ref="ART" access_status="0" xsi:schemaLocation="http://pkp.sfu.ca native.xsd"> <id type="internal" advice="ignore">106</id> <title locale="en_US">The Concept of Self in Indian English Literature</title>
<p><strong>The concept of self in Indian English literature refers to the exploration and representation of individual and collective identity within the context of Indian society and culture, as depicted in literary works written in English by Indian authors.
