Abstract

Women’s empowerment is essential for the socioeconomic development of any country and is considered one of the major factors for increasing worldwide development efforts. Microfinance facilitates women to increase their earning capacity, leading to greater
control to tackle financial irregularities. Microfinance influences the decision-making power of women and their social empowerment. Women constitute one-half of the total population of the world, and they significantly contribute to its economy. It is globally
recognized that women are significant contributors to national and global development. Rural Women themselves helped in improving their local economies. Women have earned their respectable status at their workplace as well as in society and becoming socially
