Abstract

This research paper presents a comprehensive survey of the applications, challenges, and future prospects of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology in university environments. RFID technology has gained significant attention in recent years due to its potential to enhance efficiency, security, and management in various domains. In the context of universities, RFID technology offers
numerous opportunities for improvement across multiple areas, such as asset tracking, library management, student identification, access control, and attendance monitoring. This survey explores the existing literature on RFID implementation in universities, identifies key challenges and solutions, and provides insights into the future prospects of RFID technology in higher education.
