Abstract

Agricultural Internet of Things (AIoT) is the use of Internet of Things (IoT) technology to improve agricultural production, efficiency, and sustainability. AIoT combines the power of IoT devices and digital sensors with advanced analytics and cloud computing to create a network of connected systems in the farm operation environment. This network provides real-time monitoring and data gathering from all areas of operation, including soil and crop conditions, sprinkler systems, animal health, energy and water use, and more. Benefits of AIoT include improved operational efficiency, better understanding of the environment and its conditions, and improved crop yields.
